Hi everyone,
Well I had a few technical issues but hopefully I'm ok now and hope to start making posts a bit more regularly. Things haven't changed that much to be honest, bought a few more clothes including a red plaid skirt, pink striped top and some knee high boots.
So I never really thought of myself as a pink sort of gal before but I'm getting to like it. I think because it's so far from my usual style that it makes me feel like a different person. Sorry, that's about all I can muster about now but I wanted to say something.

Making a Match
Hi everyone,
As usual I have a number of things I would love to post about and have meant to over the past few months but haven't because of things and stuff and reasons so I thought I would combine them in one post (which I haven't written yet and will be a bit long) but there is also a new entry in my Quantum Leap series (which is long and mostly written) so I thought I would just put something up as to that effect but luckily I have something to say.
A few months ago I bought some coloured tights (red, green, blue) cheaply and today being a Bank Holiday and I'm at home so I thought I would try the red pair out but I was a little stumped as to what they would go with so I sought some answers online (it holds the answers to everything). I came across an article by Jessica Booth on Gurl.com from 2014 which was very enlightening for example pairing a pair of coloured tights with all your neutral colours, a striped dress, a black dress or using them to give a pop of colour to an outfit. Alternatively you can just go for it with whatever outfit and see what happens. I know from experience that things just go together sometimes when you didn't think they would.
Here's the link: How To Wear Coloured Tights
The one piece of advice I really took on board was to draw a colour from your outfit. For example, when I wore the green tights I paired them with a black dress that has green bird shapes on. There's also my Lost dress (which is not named for the mystery island TV show which ran from 2004-2010 but because whenever I wear it I get lost. This is the dress I got myself stranded in London in) which has pink and light blue flowers on it so I began thinking of the combinations I could use.
So what did I go with in the end? I am presently wearing a pair of blue denim turn-up shorts, black T-shirt (with Optimus Prime on) and a black cardigan with the red tights of course (not a a bright red but more of an earthy colour) plus bright red nails. They've also gone quite well with a pair of brown faux-sheepskin boots I have and some blue trainers. Ended up going for a walk in them too which still takes a spurt of confidence.

The Shopping Forecast
Here's a mini-update things that may turn into a rant.
I've been getting really frustrated recently with myself for not going out dressed more. It's like I see women in the street now and feel more jealous than I usually do. Sometimes just opening the door is a big step for me and for a while I've wanted to do my Saturday shopping dressed. Part of it I think is because this area is so familiar to me and with London I can keep moving and get lost in a crowd plus there's also the fact that most of my clothes have come from the charity shops round here. I do suffer from chronic indecision and this time my fears got the better of me and I didn't today. In case you were wondering, it was going to be a denim miniskirt (which I'm wearing now) but I do have bright red nails at the moment so a bit of it was there. Nearly went out dressed to a quiz the other week but the dread words 'replacement bus service' made me decide against it. I can just about do the train but not that. Not that I mean all buses but any travel issue will send me reeling.
Only bought a shirt today. A male shirt. I know, I'm disgusted with myself too.
I'm still looking to buy some new shoes but can't seem to find anything I like. Shoes have never really been a thing for me as I wear trainers a lot but I think in some situations it calls for something a bit smarter just to fit the feminine aesthetic. This is also the reason why I tried to shave off my body hair last week. Now, I did see a nice pair today, shiny black and with chunky heels and they did have a bit of a gothy/alt look about them. I saw them in a charity shop before, tried them on and left it to chance. they disappeared the next week but turned up in another shop. I tried them on again and came close to buying them but I left it to chance again as I'm not sure about the height of the heel. Never worn heels before so of course it felt a bit odd. I'm undecided about them so should they be still there next week I may even get them.
Also nearly bought a jumper from ASDA in the sale which i really liked but it's near the end of the month and while money is not tight I still think I should stop for a bit as I seem to be buying clothes every week. Just last week I bought what I have dubbed 'The Most Impractical Jumper in History' which is green and white striped with bell sleeves and ties on the end. I would still like the other jumper so perhaps if it's still there next week I'll nab it. Oh and I also tried on a pair of light blue boots. Trying now to recall what else I've bought. There was an octopus necklace which looked like a cursed idol from a horror film, a black rose ring and a grey midi pleated skirt. Also, as you know I was looking at mod dresses from Atom Retro and now there's a sale on so...yup back to chronic indecision.

May Update
Well, time does fly and it seems I've missed out any sort of entry for April so I'll endeavor to update a bit on this Bank Holiday Monday while I have some time of from a stressful time at work.
I have bought a number of things over the weeks and in fact nary a week goes by without me picking up something new but it still does give me a lot of pleasure looking round all the clothes shops of a Saturday and picking up something. Two things I've bought recently among some new necklaces a ring and some skirts is a lovely red plaid dress with a black pleather collar (a bit worse for wear unfortunately) and some shorts. Now, ever since I started thinking about getting in to CD proper, I've wanted a pair of denim turn up shorts and love the look they give when paired with black tights. They have some fashionable rips in them which is to be honest not a style I like but I can bear it although some people take it up to stupid levels, walking along the street in jeans with such huge rips and tears in you wonder if they had just been attacked by a wild animal. The shorts are a little big for me but otherwise I'm loving them.
I've had my eye on a dress with a Harry Potter theme recently and I've just taken the plunge and ordered it. Vintage clothes are something I've dipped my toe into especially those from around the mid 20th century, I already own a 1940s style Land Girl dress from Hell Bunny and something else I've been thinking about now is a 1960s mod style dress so I've been eyeing up some of the stuff at Atom Retro. Perhaps paired with some Go Go boots too. I do mean to invest in some more shoes as well. I've been looking around but nothings seems to catch my eye.
I continue to dress quite often, usually when I get home from work as a way of reclaiming myself, but sometimes outside which I still hope to do more of. I have considered putting on a dress to go shopping in but although I can brave London, my local area feels a little too much for now.
Speaking of work, I've often had the fantasy of getting up at the normal time, catching the normal train...and then turning right round and catching the next one back. This started years ago back when I was in college and I used to see the bus home leaving just as I arrived. Now I'm wondering how cool it would be to wear a dress just for this little trip (on a day off obviously) and there are obviously thoughts of whether to get breakfast (this is a very important point). So that's a little fantasy of mine to round off.

December Update
I always seem to start my posts apologising for not updating this blog and this is no exception to the rule. every year aim to improve my posting but I seem to have fallen behind this year. I hope there are people still out there reading this and enjoying it and if it proves inspiring at all as that was always part of my aim.
Back in October I went to a talk by Sophie LaBelle, author of Assigned Male comics (http://assignedmale.tumblr.com/) which was a nice evening and I met some great people. It was also interesting that the centre, Lime Wharf in Hackney, where the talk was held also hosts G(end)er Swap a pop-up clothing swap initiative (@genderswap on Facebook) that helps people donate and choose the kind of clothes they want to wear whatever gender they are.
November I came out of feeling that I was Daredevil, the man without fear, not because I started dressing in a red suit and fighting crime but because after a mix-up with some train times following a friend's birthday party, I ended up spending a few hours wandering the streets of London in a dress with no route back home until the early hours. Luckily no-one really noticed or at least mentioned it but I was left with the feeling that after that I'm not really scared to do it anymore. That doesn't quite bear out but I will be going out dressed tonight. Since then I also attended a screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show dressed as Magenta (a domestic) and I tried eyeshadow for the first time. I can't really remember I've bought anything in the last few months apart from a couple of new dresses, some Ugg-like sheepskin boots and a handbag.
December has not been the best month so far. Went to another convention intending to cosplay but somehow I never ended up doing so which was a bit disappointing. Some changes at work mean I'm really not looking forward to going back in the new year but at least its been a nice Christmas so far. i may have a bit more time on my hands so hopefully I will be able to update this more in 2018.

January Update
Well, it's a been a while since my last update. Nothing major has really happened but it's been an interesting few weeks.
Christmas was the usual family affair, always very enjoyable and relaxing few days. During the break between Christmas and the New Year I went out a couple of times for drinks with friends and even 'dressed' for it. One day I spent a sizable chunk actually getting ready. Bought a new pair of boots. Really nice black with a buckle on the side. The sort you see girls wearing that makes it look like they're just one size too big and look really nice when coupled with a dress and tights. I painted my nails again and although I still enjoy the look, it's getting to be a bit frustrating when it keeps coming off even with a coat of non-chip. Still, everything went fine with no major incidents and I got some nice compliments.
Now, New Year was meant to be a full circle for me as I was due to wear my lovely black dress to my friends' party. I was going to get new shoes and maybe try a bit more make-up proving to myself how far I had come in a year and achieved an ambition I never even knew I had. Alas, though the party was called off due to illness and troublesome facilities so it was a night in with a Marvel movie, various firework displays and Robbie Williams singing for some reason.
I've bought a couple of nice necklaces now as well and ran into a little bit of trouble while looking at belts in a second hand store when one of the assistants informed me that I was looking in womens' section and directed me to the mens'. Now, I could have made a fuss and indeed I've been mentally preparing for this sort of thing but to be honest I didn't see the worth in it and mumbled over to the mens section. She was a nice old lady only trying to help and of the many fights I could potentially face, this is not the hill I want to die on.
I've returned to work which is getting busier and more stressful by the day as I'm struggling to catch up. Last week though I saw my girlfriend and admitted my crossdressing to her and had a nice response. She's a little apprehensive although she admits it's because she really hasn't much experience of it and I'm wondering what the first time she sees me 'dressed' (probably in a few weeks) will be like. She's only the second person I think I've actually told; everyone else got the visual first. She sent me some nice texts the next day too. So that's basically where I am at the moment

Nine Worlds 2016
Ok, so I got back from the convention last weekend and I really enjoyed it.
Even though I was sad that some of my friends couldn't make it, it was still a blast and one of the best cons I've been to for years. Of course, if you're reading this I expect you want to know about the cosplay. Well, my nerve has gotten greater with each passing year. Didn't do it for the first year and only managed a quick one on the Sunday the second but this year I had three planned. The first I didn't do in the end which would have been Castiel from Supernatural (no crossplay) but because I didn't have the correct coat and would have been a bit hot in three layers. Still might do it at some point though. I ended up with one that has the merest suggestion of Wash from Firefly.
So anyway, on the Saturday out came my Star Trek dress and the boots and it was as brilliant as I hoped it would be. I initially had a blue wig and I did mean to go for a whole 'blue haired alien babe' vibe but I got a bit tired of it after a while and since I wasn't playing a proper character so decided to ditch the wig and felt all the better for it. In a way, I felt a bit of a fangirl, like this was a proper thing a fangirl would wear to a on rather than just being a costume. It was a nice feeling.
On Sunday, the blue wig returned, luckily, because my purple one has started going bald! Today I went as a Hogwarts schoolgirl from Harry Potter. This was an old costume left over from when a bunch of us dressed as teen Nymphadora Tonks for a party. Bought myself a Hufflepuff headband and a cute necklace to add to it too. This too went down well and I got a lot of good comments simply for the effort.
Luckily the girl I'm dating, who was also there in crossplay at one point, was OK with it. As for anything outside cosplay, I left it for now although I did bring a denim skirt with me. As I've said before, cosplay is one thing but admitting you dress outside of that is another matter altogether so I've put that on the backburner for now. So, all in all, a fun weekend and quite a boost.

Boots!
Well, I've now taken my first foray into female footwear.
I needed a pair of knee length boots for a cosplay but I've been out of luck due to size. Yesterday, however, I did find a pair in a much smaller size than I thought although I did feel an obligation to buy even if they hadn't fit because I'm sure I felt something rip although no damage done on closer inspection when I got them home. Luckily they fit wonderfully, I tried them on with my costume and it just looks awesome.
Size can be quite odd, as I've found out. Even with men's shoes I think I have pairs in about three different sizes but at least I have something to measure it against now. I don't think I'll start on the high heels just (if at all) but a pair of ankle boots or court shoes, maybe even some Mary Janes would be nice.
I have been getting more confident after last week and I've also wondered if I've influenced anyone the way I was as a youngster. Just seeing one person dressed differently can influence others. That's why I started this blog; to put across my experiences and let others know that they're not alone in these feelings like I wish I would have read when I was younger. I wonder if any of the kids at the party, after seeing me, realise they can dress outside of gender boundary's if they wish, that it's ok.

Dark Fantasies
I've not been having a good time of it recently.
I've had a cold for the last couple of weeks that I really can't shift plus I feel like I'm drowning at work. It's not been this bad for a while now and I feel like I can't keep up. I still see occasional updates from my ex girlfriend on social networking sites. I know I probably should defriend her and one day it will become too hard to see her pop up but I just can't take that leap for some reason. It's tough to see someone with whom you shared nearly everything living their life without you.
I should really buy those dresses I wanted to. I've been on my own a lot recently so I've been wanting to dress up again.
Anyway, just wanted to write a bit about a current fantasy of mine relating to goth girls. A few years ago there was a gothy club in London that I thought of visiting. I never did, a bit nervous about sticking out like a sore thumb as it's not really my scene to be honest, but I always had a little fantasy about a girl dressing me up so we could go together. For some reason that came back to me again recently.
I would go to her place, some loft apartment close by, to get dressed. Strip off and put on bra and knickers, black with skulls on them (yes stereotypical I know but for some reason it turns me on) and fishnet tights. Now there are many clothes I could go with but at the moment it's a big frilly black dress perhaps with ruffles, bows with a cameo collar that thrills me. Long elaborate frilly dresses, perhaps in a southern belle style and long gloves, have been a little fantasy for a while now. Gloves of course, either long black ones or short sheer black ones with frills on the ends. A big pair of gothy boots too. A friend of mine's ex-girlfriend had a lovely pair I coveted a little and tried to think of situations in which I could borrow and wear them. Not sure whether I would wear a wig or just some long, colourful hair extensions. A fascinator too or maybe a small top hat. She would do my make-up and perhaps add some accessories and give me a handbag, perhaps something really stereotypical like a coffin shaped one. Maybe it would be filled with things like a gothy purse, some make-up, maybe cigarettes and condoms. Perhaps I may carry a parasol too.
We would then head over to the club. She would be dressed in a similar style.I would probably stick by her and just enjoy myself or maybe we would agree on a name and persona for me. She could tell me what to do for the rest of the night. Perhaps I might even just stay quiet and enhance my mystery. Not sure what would happen after that, probably just crash back at her place. It would be such an exhilarating night.
Trekkie Girl #3
Hello there, yes it's another new post from me tonight. I was going to include this as part of the last one but I wanted to write two separate parts rather than gel them together in a 'My Week' sort of a thing plus this is linked to something I was writing about last week which has gained a bit of momentum.
I am still thinking about it at this stage but I saw a female friend of mine at the weekend (not the one I mentioned in the first post, I may add) and thought I would mention my Star Trek dress idea to her, knowing that she normally likes it when I do this sort of thing. I have gained a certain reputation over the years going back to an incident I haven't spoken about on here yet. No-one has ever asked me outright about this which is nice but it can go two ways in that I do feel a bit put out if people just assume that I (a) will be dressing up when we have a party or are around cosplay and (b) that I will be crossdressing. I don't know, something about the assumption and my slight rebellious streak that doesn't like people thinking they've got me figured out. Sometimes it does work for the better though as some of the girls have been supportive. Of course there are the usual jokes which do get my dander up a bit but then I'm not even the biggest crossdresser in our group.
So anyway on with the story and she, as a big Trek fan, has offered to lend me her blue dress and possibly a bag to match! I do remember this dress from a con a few years ago too. This has made me a little excited and I guess it adds a little something to it that it's someone else's clothing too. A bit like a TG caption story in the making. I have tights although a new pair may be required so all I need now is those black boots.
Might even have to make an effort to watch the show now...

Quantum Leap #2: Another Mother
Another Mother
(30 September 1981)
Sam is...Linda Bruckner, multitasking mother
The Mission: Save son Kevin Bruckner from running away from home and subsequently vanishing without a trace.
This is another favourite episode for me and one I have watched a number of times.
We are still in season two and this story comes a mere nine episodes after What Price Gloria. We've done 'single girl in the city' so 'mother' is the next logical step. As such, we are over the whole "oh no I'm a woman" thing and struggles with heels and getting into the situation at hand. Sam looks a lot better in Linda's pirate-y blouse and long skirt than he did in Samantha Stormer's revealing dresses. I noticed Al's bizarre clothes a bit more this time with his tie with bites taken out of it and flurry of buttons on the collar.
While Linda is dressing as a pirate, all the cool kids in 1981 are dressing as cowboys and cowgirls it seems. Speaking of which, up to this point 1981 was the furthest the show had ever travelled forward for a mission. I suppose it was like a present day Doctor Who episode, saves money on period detail at least. This episode also introduced the idea that kids could see Sam and Al because they exist in a natural alpha state and could not be lied to. "That's not mommy, that's a man," repeats younger daughter Teresa at the beginning, and no doubt to several psychiatrists in the years since. She's was played by Troian Bellisario daughter of producer Donald Bellisario and this episode's writer Deborah Pratt.
Michael Stoyanov (whom I remember mainly from the early 1990's sitcom Blossom) plays Kevin well and has some of the most pop-culture laden lines pre-Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Somehow he's involved in Demons and Dragons, an odd Dungeons and Dragons game in which ranking is based on sexual encounters for some reason. When school hottie Jackie agrees to embarrass Kevin in front of his friends he is soon sent into the night and into the clutches of two mute perverts who we have seen heading towards the town in a beaten up van in various previous scenes. Al has a wonderful line in response to one of the Kevin's so-called friends, telling him he won't lose his own virginity until 6 years time although how he has this information to hand is another mystery. Sam gets the opportunity to kick ass in a long skirt ("Watch that knife, Sam. It could be sharp," is Al's helpful advice) and it's worth it to see the stunned look on Kevin's face when he stumbles out of the van to see his mother has beaten up his kidnappers. Their motivation is never explained but perhaps they don't need one beyond being generic dirty old men and providing someone for Sam to fight which he does so while Al reels off a list of all the fighting styles Sam handily knows.
So, it seems a bit like an 80's teen sex comedy in places but there's a lovely dynamic with the kids, Kevin and his sister Susan bicker all the time but make up and Al's scenes with Teresa are lovely as she embraces the logic of the leap. Teresa also appears in a novel sequel Angels Unaware (1997) by L. Elizabeth Storm. Not only does Sam have a schedule to keep up with but there's some interesting moments as he finds he can't have a heart to heart with Kevin as he feels he can't relate to his mum.
This story was less about Sam being a woman and more on his role as mother and it was all the better for it, the outfits he wore for it worked better too.
That's not quite it for season two though as we also have a snippet of the finale M.I.A (01 April 1969) in which Sam leaps into it, at first sight, a hooker standing in an alleyway. This is a wonderful little fake out which appears in the credits but our crossdressing leaper is for once actually crossdressing and the figure in the big hair, red top and orange mini skirt is actually undercover cop Jake Rawlins. After leaping twice into a woman this season, you couldn't blame Sam for thinking otherwise. It's not the first crazy costume he wears this episode too. As a newbie detective he also finds his locker filled with frillies and once again he's delighted to see a pair of jeans. That's where the CD element ends but this is a lovely bittersweet story in which Al tries to get Sam to stop his first wife remarrying while he's MIA (missing in action) in the Vietnam war. Ironically, the next story after this sees Sam try to change his own past in season three opener, The Leap Home.
Next time we enter the world of the beauty contest...

Christmas Day 2014
Merry Christmas everyone!
Lovely day, I spent it with my family as per usual. Christmas Day always has a real buzz about it and a feeling like no other day of the year. Everything seems to shut down, in this country at least, people head over to friends and relatives houses to eat and drink way too much and there are tons of specials on TV.
I really enjoyed Doctor Who this year too. It has that stripped down feel of much of the last series. I won't say much more just to be wary of spoilers.
On a more feminine note, I loved the outfit Michelle Keegan had on tonight on the Michael McIntyre Christmas show. Black jumper, beige skirt, black tight and boots. Smart and sexy,I used to love the look of a short skirt and knee length boots when I was a teenager. Although there must have been something alluring about knees that I'm missing since they are the only part not covered up...

Tales From The Role Exchanger #3
For a while now I've been thinking of doing some Role Exchanger caps over at the Haven not involving gender change and focusing on more personality changes. Now, I expect this may go down like a lead balloon but it's still something I'm interested in. If I don't do it on the Haven I may start doing it here or start a separate blog.
So anyway, I took the opportunity on 25 Caps of Christmas to do a little experiment to see how it goes down. My Role Exchanger posts seem to be the most popular on here which make me feel guilty because it's basically piggybacking on Morpheus' genius idea but it's one that has been a big influence on me and is one of my favourite concepts within the TG world and I wanted to celebrate it.
So here's an original piece by me using the concept. Hope y'all like :)

Nine Worlds
Over the last weekend I've been attending the Nine Worlds convention in London. It was unlike any convention I've been to in that it was mostly talk based whereas I'm more used to the odd talk amongst signings or celebrities doing Q&As . This was mainly made up on panels discussing various subjects and it was a very enjoyable weekend which covered a wide range of subjects.
So I expect you may be wondering whether I'm about to reveal a brand new attempted cosplay for the weekend, well...unfortunately not. Once again I was struck by chronic indecision after not really wanting to do the same cosplays as I have before. So the convention crept up on me a bit and I couldn't settle on an idea. There's still a lot that I would love to do one day though. I could go for Amy Pond again but a different look. Pirate Amy from The Curse of the Black Spot would be cool. I would also love to do Clara one day too or perhaps wear one of those Star Trek OS mini dresses complete with tights and boots. Since I've been watching Farscape for the first time I've also had thoughts about doing Chiana but to be honest I would never want to go as far as all that grey body make-up. My inherent laziness would kick in.
Of course, I need not have gone in cosplay at all if I wanted to dress as the con was very friendly towards those with trans issues (not that I have trans issues I'm more CD but you get my meaning) so I could have easy just worn a dress or put on a skirt. Indeed I saw one or two guys doing the same and to be honest it's all I really want, I think. A t-shirt, a mini skirt (maybe black), tights and a pair of Chucks. Simple.

Trekkie Girl
I saw Star Trek Into Darkness last week and it reminded me of a post I was meaning to make on here about another of my little fantasies and cosplay ideas.
Last year at a sci-fi convention I was in a quandry about what to wear on costume night. At the time I was kind of annoyed that everyone thought I would be dressing in drag which, plus my indecision, meant I didn't wear any kind of costume that night. For some reason though my regular clothes ended up looking a bit like Buffy season one Xander Harris but that's by the by. I ended up talking to a friend who was dressed in a gold Star Trek mini-dress with tights and boots (I think it's a Captain's look right?). This really caught my eye and through our conversation I ended up suggesting rather jokingly that we might swap clothes. Now this is where the TG story and real life would branch in separate directions as she said no.
Ever since then I've been thinking about dressing up like that although I'm not likely to have an occasion many time soon. Now, I'm not really a big fan of Trek. I don't dislike it but it's just something I never got into although I have seen a handful of episodes and the movies however it's this idea that also intrigues me. As readers know, I love personality changes and what could be better than getting jacked in to a new fandom. I remember I roleplayed this idea briefly a few years back. As a result of this idea I created the below caption.
After this I also set an offer up on the Haven to make me a Trekkie girl while the Star Trek London convention was on and being attended by many of my friends. I suppose an idea like this also goes into personality changes, not just looking like someone else but becoming someone else and a fan of something you're not is a fun idea whether it's a sci-fi geek, reality TV addict etc. I remember once hearing two girls at a reception desk talking about a convention in a hotel I was attending at the time saying that they don't understand fans. At the time I wondered what they must be a fan of. Sure, not everyone dresses up and goes to conventions for various shows but there must be something you really like. I might add that these two had been clothes shopping and were laden down with bags. So what's their poison? What soap or TV programme can they not live without? What movie do they come back to? Is there a certain designer or brand that floats their boat? I refuse to believe that they have nothing at all like that in their lives and if they haven't then there must be something wrong. Everyone is passionate about something, in different levels of course. You can still watch EastEnders religiously but it doesn't mean you want to dress up like Pat Butcher and hang around in a hotel with other fans.

Mmm but that mini dress though. I was having much the same thoughts when I saw Alice Eve in that blue dress in the new movie. Perhaps I'll get the chance one day of course I better watch a few more episodes first to try and appear knowledgeable and truly get into the role.

Fashionista #4
Ok, so when I write these try and imagine a Posh Spice kind of vibe with me wearing a tight black dress, large sunglasses and big black handbag.
I blame The Killing. Sarah Lund has made chunky knitwear fashionable again for the first time since the 1980s. Not just as a fashion item too but that kind of design has been used for labels and t-shirts .
Stripes are in at the moment especially stripey leggings. One girl on a Gok Wan show called them her "Beetlejuice Pants" which is a very fitting title.

Striped T-shirts are also fashionable now. It appears it's in to look like a French stereotype.

Back to trousers and disco pants are coming back in. I started seeing these stretchy black leggings a month or so ago and they seem to be popular. At least they definitely keep out the cold weather.

Staying with black, pleated leather mini skirts are becoming popular too. Very nice.

Back up to the head now and if we're short of money it seems we just want to look rich with lots of faux fur coats and hast about plus the fur hat ring.Leaving the top of the head exposed seems like an odd idea but it must be warm as there are plenty about.

Also, if we're not trying to look rich then we go right out into the woods and look as if we've killed our own hats as having a wolf on your noggin is getting to be popular.

Doctor Who started up again recently and I'm loving new girl Clara's look already. I especially love the publicity picture below of actress Jenna Louise Coleman. Such a cute dress with lovely bows!

And finally, two current fashion items (well perhaps more last year) that I really dislike: The Onesie
| Onesie is enough |
I get why people like this but I think the overgrown toddler look.
The second item is these boots:

Now, I have nothing against knee high boots, I used to dream about having to wear a pair when I was in my late teens but I think it's just the scoop at the top which turns me off them.
That's all for now!
Ciao!
